Safety Muzzle

Fitting Instructions
1. Release the K buckle and open up the grey* velcro.
2. Stand in front of the dog offering a treat to keep the dog’s attention. Place the muzzle over the jaw.
3. Close the K buckle. Adjust the green strap as needed until it is secure but comfortable. “Pause” and get the dogs attention with a treat.
4. Take the muzzle off by releasing the K buckle and giving the dog a treat, repeat this on several occasions until the dog is accustomed to wearing the muzzle with ease.

General Guide For Use
•Teach the dog to wear the muzzle first in your presence at different locations and in different settings. Praise the dog when the muzzle is fitted and when it is taken off. The dog will then associate the muzzle with praise and will allow for taking it on or off with ease.
•Ensure to adjust the Safety Muzzles according to different situations and settings. Tighten the fit to prevent aggressive behaviour such as biting. Loosen the fit to prevent behaviour problems such as chewing or barking.
•The muzzle can be folded and carried in a pocket or a bag.

Note that when first introducing your dog to the Safety Muzzle, accustoming them to the product is necessary.
